The Jardin Suspendu is not just a roof top bar. It is a roof top garden, a roof top cinema, a roof top eatery and a roof top club. It’s also a good spot to enjoy a view! In short: the Jardin Suspendu near Porte de Versailles is a perfect place to hang out in summer, especially if you’re not in the mood to move around much but neither want to be stuck in one bar the entire evening.
What can you do at the Jardin Suspendu in Paris?
The diversity of this roof top summer event lets you enjoy your Apéro in a deck chair and play a round of Pétanque to relax before having dinner at the food court. Take a couple of drinks with friends in a garden style sitting area and end the evening with a DJ set. Sounds pretty much perfect, doesn’t it?
Check their page for more information about schedules for DJ sets and cinema sessions!
On 3500m2 you have everything you need to spend a great evening in Paris. Several bars are offering chilled beers, wine and cocktails at average Paris prices (the pint 1664 for 7€) and you have decent options for food: Apéro snack boxes, Focaccia (which was excellent), Pasta, Kebab and a few others. The style is casual and relaxed, some even wore flip flops!
We had no problem getting in, there was no queue or waiting time. But: they only allow 1000 people in the beer garden at once and if you arrive late, you might indeed have to wait until someone leaves in order to get access.
Good to know: the entrance to the Jardin Suspendu Roof Top is free. You just pay what you drink and eat, but note that you can’t pay cash – it’s either credit card or their cashless system.
How to get to the Jardin Suspendu?
The Roof Top Bar is really close to Porte de Versailles. The easiest is just to take Metro Line 12 or the Tram (T2 or T3) and get out at Porte de Versailles. From there it’s just a 5min walk.
