As of this writing, the arena is still under construction, and the surrounding area is a bit of a wildcard. I can’t in good faith recommend staying in a hotel in that particular neighborhood right now.

While you won’t have any issues watching the games at La Chapelle Arena, the area isn’t the most appealing—nor is it considered 100% safe at night. Plus, it lacks the quintessential Parisian charm you’re likely looking for.

Instead, consider staying near Metro Line 12 for direct access to the arena. Even better, why not opt for a hotel in Montmartre? This famed artists’ quarter is just a short-distance away from La Chapelle Arena, and you’ll undoubtedly have a more enriching experience.
