Pont des Arts is also a popular spot for an evening apéro by the Seine. Perfect to enjoy a glass of wine or two while watching the sunset over the city.

The Pont des Arts is formerly also known as the Love Lock Bridge, but I advise against adding a lock to the structure. Most locks got removed by now. They are damaging the foundation of the bridge. But the keys that are thrown in the Seine are destroying the ecosystem of the river.

#29 From Metro line 6

When you take the Metro to the Eiffel Tower, you likely will find yourself in line 6. No matter from which direction you’re coming, make sure you get out of the Metro only AFTER you crossed the Seine. That’s because the view from the train on the Eiffel Tower is just fantastic. You are crossing the Pont Bir-Hakeim, which let alone is one of the places with the best views of the Eiffel Tower.

#30 The Rooftop Terrace at the Galerie Lafayette

The Galerie Lafayette lies right next to the Printemps Department store. But while you need to sit down in a café at Printemps, the rooftop of the Galerie Lafayette is free and has one of the best places to see the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Passerelle Debilly is a pedestrian bridge in Paris that crosses the Seine. While it might not be the most exciting bridge in the city, it does have one big claim to fame: the best views of the Eiffel Tower.
